Distinctive Fan-Shaped Design with an Extended 10.7 cm Body

The latest additions to the Ai-ONE Square 2 Square putter lineup are the MAX 1 and MAX STRIPE, both featuring a large, fan-like shape at the rear of the head. This unique design gives them the deepest center of gravity (CG) and highest moment of inertia (MOI) among all Ai-ONE Square 2 Square models.
The only difference between the two is the bold white alignment stripe on the top of the MAX STRIPE.
With a rear length of approximately 10.7 cm from the face to the back edge, the MAX STRIPE features the longest alignment line ever seen on an Ai-ONE model, offering exceptional visual guidance.

Slim, Rounded-End Weights on the Sole

In this series, the shaft is tilted forward toward the target and inserted directly at the head’s CG rather than behind the face, paired with a higher-lofted head. As a result, when the putter is lightly held and lifted to match its lie angle, the head resists rotation (torque-less), naturally keeping the face square with the toe pointing upward — a defining characteristic of toe-up balance.
The MAX 1 and MAX STRIPE feature approximately 10g weights on both the toe and heel, using a new slim, rounded-end design, distinct from the circular weights seen in other Ai-ONE models.

Reduces Unintended In/Out Head Movement

Thanks to the toe-up balance, these putters make it easier to automatically maintain a square face during both the takeaway and follow-through, keeping the head aligned along the target line.
In other words, it’s designed to minimize deviation from the intended stroke path — reducing the likelihood of pulling the head inside or pushing it outside.
The forward-leaning shaft mount also promotes a natural hands-ahead setup, encouraging a low, long stroke path with minimal effort.

AI-Designed Insert Minimizes Ball Speed Loss

Like other Ai-ONE putters, the MAX 1 and MAX STRIPE are equipped with the AI-designed Ai-ONE insert, which is engineered to reduce ball speed drop-off on off-center hits.
Combined with the torque-free design and hands-ahead stroke mechanics, this insert helps players achieve more consistent, stable putting performance.
Unlike other Ai-ONE models, these two do not include the polycarbonate window that reveals the aluminum insert’s complex internal contouring.
