Longer vertical section shifts it toward face balance

The “GIRAFFE-BEAM Putter” is characterized by its long neck, with a vertical crank hosel section that is extended — just like the name “GIRAFFE.” By making the neck longer, the shaft axis tends to align closer to the center of the face, resulting in a center of gravity angle closer to face balance. This makes it suitable for players who prefer a blade-style putter with a crank hosel, but also want a sense of ease in making straight, automatic strokes.

H-shaped cross-section enhances stability and reduces weight

Additionally, the neck of the GIRAFFE-BEAM Putter is not just extended — the vertical part is slightly wider than a typical crank neck, and its cross-section resembles an H-beam or structural column used in construction. This H-shaped design greatly improves rigidity, helping to suppress twisting of the face on off-center hits. At the same time, it allows for weight reduction, making the neck up to approximately 14g lighter than traditional long crank necks (depending on the model), which prevents the head’s center of gravity from becoming excessively high. This design makes it suitable not only for blades but also for larger mallet heads, which tend to be heavier.

Approx. 10g weights in the toe and heel of the sole

On the sole, around 10g of weight is placed toward the toe and heel near the face, increasing the moment of inertia. Along with the rigid H-shaped long neck, this helps reduce twisting on off-center hits. The design also contributes to a shallow center of gravity, which helps players control ball speed more easily.

As the name suggests, the GIRAFFE-BEAM Putter showcases a giraffe-themed design throughout. The logo features a giraffe illustration, and the body has a copper finish reminiscent of a giraffe’s body color, adding a premium look. Laser-engraved giraffe patterns appear on the sole, grip, and headcover, reinforcing the theme. The lineup includes four head shapes, all paired with the STROKE LAB 90 shaft — a full steel shaft first introduced with the Ai-ONE putters.
